As a mom, I know how it feels to worry about your child's health and safety. I also know that one way to feel more confident in your child's safety is be certified in Infant and Child CPR. Infant and Child CPR certification really is a must for moms and dads as well as other caregivers.
The Red Cross has several options for learning these important and potentially life saving skills. In addition to traditional CPR courses did you know that Red Cross Mile High Chapter offers online Infant and Child CPR courses? Obviously the Red Cross has busy moms in mind.
According to the Red Cross the purpose of Infant and Child CPR courses is to "Train individuals to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for lifethreatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in infants and children."
I worked in child care through college and as a result was both infant and child CPR certified as well as first aid certified. Honestly, my previous certification has lapsed, but it is never too late to get re-certified, because you never know when you will need the skills an Infant and Child CPR course can teach you.
The Red Cross Mile High Chapter is generously offering a special discount to Evolving Mommy Reviews readers. Use the discount code "BLOGGER" to receive 15% off the cost of registration for Infant and Child CPR courses offered through the Red Cross Mile High Chapter.
